I also tried using the domain admin credentials. I tried using the user account credentials for proxy authentication. i tried the FQDN, ip, hostname.i tried by using the windows credentials option. In the proxy tab in system settings of Symantec endpoint I have tried every combination possible entering the PROXY credentials. We do have a proxy in the network- ISA 2006. The issue is that I cannot update the virus definitions on the newly installed one - endpoint 12. I looked over the sym documentation but i haven't found anything i am missing.:\ But we recently installed sym 12 endpoint ru1 – as a different installed on a different server/dc, yet on the same net.
One is a legacy product Sym AV 10 which is no longer supported by sym. I have two version of Symantec AV solutions running on the same net.
